I’m an Ohio native and Columbus College of Art and Design graduate who found my way to the Seattle area after a few creative adventures around the country. With encouragement from my husband, Mike- and occasional supervision from my cats, Franklin and Madison- I’ve built a career as a freelance illustrator after the dot com boom and bust. Since 2006, I have had the joy of illustrating Highlights Magazine’s longtime favorite “Goofus and Gallant,” which is an honor and a career highlight. These days, I draw inspiration from the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley just outside my studio window as I begin a new creative adventure in art licensing.
